PM of Perantsa. President of the Republican Front Party (RFP). Mother. Sister. Daughter.
Nadia Ravelin (born 17 July 1977) is the current Prime Minister of Perantsa and President of the Republican Front Party (RFP). She grew up in the port city of Peran as the eldest of three siblings in a family of teachers, gaining an early awareness of how coastal communities struggled with economic shifts in shipping and trade. Ravelin studied political science and public administration at the University of Peran, where she became active in student movements that pushed for transparency in local governance. Her early career was with the municipal council of Peran, where she promoted smarter coastal transport systems and affordable housing, earning her a reputation as a practical reformer. In 2006, she joined the RFP’s central committee, steadily building her profile through advocacy for regional equity between the wealthier southern headlands and the isolated northern valleys.
Ravelin was elected to Perantsa’s parliament in 2010 and rose quickly, focusing on labor issues and maritime trade policy. She became deputy leader of the RFP in 2016 and assumed full leadership two years later, guiding the party through its most internally fractious period. In 2021, amid coalition turmoil, she secured broader parliamentary support and was appointed Prime Minister, becoming one of the state’s youngest leaders. Known for her pragmatic but firm style, she championed industrial modernization while strengthening social programs for rural communities.
Ravelin is married to civil engineer Tomas Yevrin; together they have two children. Behind her calm political demeanor, she has spoken openly about the difficulties of balancing family with public life, particularly during her years as party leader. Critics at times accused her of being too compromising within coalitions, but her resilience and ability to outlast opponents helped consolidate her image as one of Perantsa’s most influential modern leaders.
